2009/2010
The Peter Parley Schoolhouse had started to degrade over the last couple of years. As such, 2009/2010 became a year to revitalize the schoolhouse and the Rigefield Garden Club volunteers put extensive time into the revitalization. In addition, there were local Ridgefield vendors that contributed time and materials.
Want to help out on future projects?
The Ridgefield Garden Club is looking for monetary contributions to help restore and maintain the Schoolhouse. One goal is to fix the old school bell and have it ring again. This is not a large facility to maintain, but there are ongoing costs to make sure this little piece of history is maintained. If you are interested in contributing your time or labor, please us the "contact us" input form or contact someone from the Ridgefield Garden Club.
